(F5VDB, formerly GJ0KKB). In June, 2004, Dr. Smithwick was awarded the Illinois Alumni Humanitarian Award, in ceremonies at the Chicago campus of the University. |
MediShare International is an all-volunteer program with no paid staff, no office, no warehouse or facilities. Nor is it MediShare's goal to develop such facilities and staff. Therefore in order to accomplish these goals, a number of informal working "partnerships" have been formed with agencies and groups who are fully experienced and have the interest, facilities, expertise and committed staff to perform these required functions. All are non-profit, humanitarian agencies with long and distinguished records of service.
Those who may be interested in specific information about donating medical equipment, instruments, supplies, pharmaceuticals etc., should access the respective Web sites or call the agency directly at the numbers provided.
