A "Part B" Agency
To Offer Personal Service

MediShare International
(A program of the Medical
Amateur Radio Council, Inc.)

Opportunities abound for health providers of all kinds (such as physicians, dentists, nurses, hospital administrators, LVNs, dietitians, etc. ) to serve as short term replacements (locum tenens) for medical personnel going on home, emergency or sick leave, or to evaluate and accredit hospitals, clinics and dispensaries world-wide which are applying to receive donated medical equipment and supplies. In addition, opportunities frequently arise for health professionals to be a part of a medical/dental team created to solve a particular or unique need. As an example, teams were organized and dispatched to Honduras for service in the recent hurricane. These appointments can be for as short as a few days, to a few weeks or months in length and are available in many countries in all continents.

Since it may take several weeks or months of advanced planning and coordination, it is strongly suggested that those interested in either donating equipment or in personal service make early inquiry and contact with any prospective agency or group.
